USTL centres are also members of 5 regional clusters, i-e competitiveness poles, and members of 6 international research groups (in lasers, catalysis, epi genetics, nanosystems, and semi conductors).

International Dimension of USTL

With the High profile of research programs, the USTL is a scientific and technological pole of international dimension. The USTL main focus is the distribution and development of the results through international symposiums, through the transfer of technology to companies, through the training and mobility of young researchers: 750 study exchanges and 450 internships a year, 200 staff mobilities, 16 international programs (master level), 2 institutional networks with USA and Australia, numerous European networks in each discipline.
