The 2017 Utrecht Network AGM will be hosted by the University of Hull, UK and will take place on 27 April 2017. The AGM will be preceded by a Rectors Meeting on 26 April 2017.
The 2016 Utrecht Network AGM took place from 28-29 April 2016 and was hosted by Queen’s University Belfast. Topics for discussion during the meeting included the changing of the name and focus of the Joint Programmes Task Force (to Internationalisation of Curricula Task Force), the developing links with networks outside Europe, changes to the Network’s Statutes and Internal Regulations and involvement in European projects. Dynamic Working Groups were held on issues surrounding internationalisation of the curricula and the Mastermind Europe project.
Thanks were given to Sabine Pendl (Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz) whose term of office as President and Steering Committee member had come to an end. Gérald Zimmermann (Universität Basel) and Raimonda Markeviciene (Vilniaus universitetas) were welcomed as new members of the Steering Committee. Alīna Gržibovska (Latvijas Universitāte) was elected to the position of Vice-President. The current Vice-President, Francesco Girotti (Alma Mater Studiorum, Università di Bologna) became the President for the period 2016 – 2018.
The AGM was preceded by a Staff Training workshop on ‘Intercultural Preparation of Outgoing Students’.
